OstroVit Berberine Sulphate 99% is a vegan dietary supplement, based on a barberry root. The product is rich in a highly assimilable berberine sulphate which proves a way stronger than a commonly used hydrochloride. What is berberine sulphate?
Berberine, a golden yellow alkaloid primarily based on Berberis aristata roots and leaves, has been used in a traditional medicine and ayurvedic medicine for hundreds of years. In dietary supplements, barberry takes two forms: a cheaper berberine hydrochloride (HCI) and stronger berberine sulphate used in our product.
